jungle flasher doesnt see the 7xxx version. it says "firmware type blank". flashed a liteon today and games showed as dvd. then flashed it back with 1.6 and it worked fine. maybe there is a bug int he whole release.

is the version determined physically on the drive itself or upon using jungle flasher?

It has to match your physical drive.  Firmwares always have to match up to your physcial drive, even if you're spoofing.

Okay, very strange.

I used jungleflasher 0.1.67 (not the 66 in the pic, which was just to verify the strangeness) with a ck3 to spoof and flash on a 7xxx lite-on drive on the 1.61 ixtreme fw.

Look at what the drive properties show now, after flashing.

I tested, and it does work properly. The drive is recognized, the key was transfered, and wave4 boots without activate, but wow that does not look right at all.

I'm going to redo it all in .66, because i had issues with .67 oncebefore.  Will update the thread shortly.

omfg go to newby section and don“t flood serious threads with stupid questions.

ALL drives are hackable since a month now...

Are newbies banned from asking questions on first page news?

The reason I asked was because a month ago when they became flashable a friend of mine told me he was waiting for c4e to release something in order to make it easier to flash. I wonder if this news could have been what he was waiting for?

If you don't have the link to the diagram of where to cut and how to pull the key, don't say anything and don't be a dick.

People who think they're better than everyone else, and rather than working together like they did back in the original xbox days, you have a million people doing their own thing, and not very well.

Well said! beerchug.gif

You'll poke your eye out, kid!
LOL I mean, you'll have a good chance of destroying pad 101 if you follow the diagram from above poster.
