Quick question.. I have a LiteOn-drive, and I managed to disconnect myself from Live just before the banwave, so I'm not technically banned -yet- ^^ I will just keep it offline, so I don't lose the ability to update gamerscore etc.

I want to update fm, since I'm sick of having to use Activate.iso. I guess this is my best shot for now, since I have iX 1.6 or something, flashed it in... May? June? Around summer.

Anyhow, since it's flashed using the spear-to-707-method which I payed a guy to do, am I to understand that I can just use the damn VIA-card now and connect via SATA as I was flashing a Hitatchi-drive? Or do I still have to read the key from the 707-hole?

there are thousands of banned boxes with IX1.61 for sammy and benq and IX1.60 for Lite-on.

why even ask if 1.61 is safe for the millionst time?
