works great for me on liteon ...now I can play wave 4 games on my banned xbox 360...didn't feel like doing the whole activate disc and all so this will work fine....this will hold me over until LT comes out ...if it ever comes out...

I was kicked off of XBL in the middle of a game, and when i attempted to log back in, got the TOS violation.
Doesn't mean much.

Technically, no.

It is a patched "stealth" firmware.
Using this is the same as using the activate.iso
all the stealth is still in there, it has just been patched to auto-bypass it.

Team Jungle should still be working on LT. I don't know what is going on internally with them but they are still updating their twitter with progress updates so one would assume it is still underway.

Well the only update we've gotten since the one saying LT was delayed until further notice is one saying happy holidays. I wouldn't say that is proof that LT is still being worked on.

Sorry, but you really can't prove that the fw works properly.

XBREBOOT boots EVERYTHING. I have a non-modded Benq drive in my Xbreboot console so I know this

Flashing a DVD drive when Xbreboot is installed makes absolutely no sense.

Why are you guys trying this firmware online? We all know ms can detect ixtreme 1.6 and nothing has been implented in this release to keep you safe. Anyone that is dumb enough to try this online really deserves the ban.

Because worst case scenario is that I get banned, sell the xbox on ebay to someone who doesn't care about going online, and replace it with a new one.

AU$50 outlay at most.

If this is really the case then a firmware that never does any stealth checking may be able to avoid the currently used detection methods.

It sounds to me like it's worth trying if you're game enough to take the risk.

It's going to be near impossible to tell, since they at least historically has been holding the bans and doing waves of them at certain dates. Thus you don't know if you were flagged yesterday or 11 months ago.
