BenQ IX 1.41 Final Rev3-4 (SS) Non-Stealth 12X
Posted by XanTium | December 22 22:50 EST | News Category: Xbox360

A modified version of BenQ iXtreme v1.41 has been released:
Quote

(1.41 REV4 (SS)) Secret Liteon MS Inquiry cdb support - Samsung and Benq
(1.41 REV3 (SS)) Drive Serial added like the original firmware
(1.41 REV3 (SS)) Disc speed fixed
(v1.41) Read Sector fix
(v1.4) Disc jitter fix
(v1.1) Extra compatability for some DVD movies
(v1.0) Boots ALL Stealth or non Stealth Xbox 360 backups
(v1.0) Boots ALL compatible Stealth or non Stealth Xbox 1 backups
(v1.0) Boots all Xbox 360 originals
(v1.0) Boots all compatible Xbox 1 originals on Xbox 360

Use Rev. 4 to spoof BenQ as a Liteon drive
If you use the old Rev 4 or 5, just upgrade to the Final rev4. If you use Rev 3 you do not do anything.

Use on Xbox Live at own risk.
Thanks to all testers and C4EVA for the Non-Stealth firmware.
This firmware is based on the firmware from C4EVA. All credits to C4EVA.

More details about the development of this modified Non-Stealth FW is available in this x-s forum thread.

I hope we get something like this for liteon. Now that my box is banned it would be nice if it would just load anything regardless of wave or stealth checks. Nothing to hide at this point. sad.gif

Non stealth liteon for hacked and banned 360 would indeed be cool

I just tried this and it keeps on trying to read a disk when I turn on my console. Does anyone else have this problem or could it be that my drive is messed up?

There is defiantly something wrong with Rev 4. When you turn on the Xbox, the drive motor and the eye will keep moving back and forward over and over again until you eject the drive. All the other Revs didn't do this.

Which game does it do this with? None of my test boxes do it but I will look at it!

I didn't have a game in the drive. I even opened the drive to make sure it wasn't something else and when I did I saw the laser moving and the motor spinning over and over again until I hit the eject button. On the dashboard it would say "reading" for like a minute after the system booted or until I head the eject button.

After I hit the eject button it would be fine though and act normally. I also tried Rev3 Final and Rev5 Test and this didn't happen with either one.

Edit: I just tested it by turning on the system with the game in the drive and it was fine, it just did the intial read of the game when I turned it on then it brought me to the dashboard with it showing me which game I have in ( I don't have auto play on by the way). It must be something when the drive first turns on that it keeps on trying to read a game.
