[Tangled Cable]

This is still the best fighter on the xbox but I just can't stand watching that warning screen that takes an hour to scroll by EVERY time you play the game! There MUST be a way to delete that damn thing .... Please tell me how. (Yes, I did a search on here but couldn't find anything ...)

i don't really like doa3, but i do think i have a demo laying around some wheres.. see the doa demo's never had a warning screen, i was able to disable the DOAU one by comparing code in the default.xbe from the final DOAU to the Demo of DOAU.

the same could be done for doa3 of course, but why? i doubt you'd be playing doa3 that much to be getting pissy about the warning screen. the only reason i messed with doau's was to speed up the time for testing skins i made, also very good for testing any active file hacks. i'll have a quick look at doa3's xbe again tonight and see if i can help, but keep in mind last time was sorta a fluke and took me a week to produce from all that hex comparing

mariokart64n - thanks for responding! This damn thing is driving me crazy. I don't usually play it but I have a friend who's been kicking my ass at it. That's frustrating enough, but every time I want to load a game to practice and hopefully get a little better before my friend kicks my ass again I have to sit through that damn warning screen ... I swear that thing takes forever! It's like sitting through the end titles of a movie it's that long!

Lucky pal users! Wish I had that instead of the NTSC version. I just can't believe NTSC users are forced to sit through that damn slow-scrolling screen every time they play the game ... Once, maybe I could see, but EVERY time? Total bullsh_t!

yeah i'm not getting anywhere fast >_< maybe just download a pal version, would seem best, since the pal users are the only ones that got a COMPLETE doa3, with additional moves and all

I'm a noobie at this, unfortunately, or I would just try to download the PAL version. I don't know how to dl a game, burn it and install it to my xbox. I just own them/rent them and "back" them up.
