Well, my 1.6 LiteOn got banned an hour ago and I was wondering if there is an Xbox 360 firmware for it that can play all the backups without a security check.

Would Xtreme 5.3 be able to do this? I obviously don't care about live play since my console is banned but I'm not sure if Xtreme 5.3 can play Wave 4+ games and if I can spoof my LiteOn to run it. Can anyone help?

You'd need to buy a Samsung drive to run iXtreme 5.3.

Lite-On can't be spoofed to the Samsung or the Hitachi 79?

Buy a Benq and put iXtreme v1.41 (the non stealth version) on it. You will be able to play anything you want.

Any drive apart from a Lite-on is good to own at the minute since its the only drive left unable to play wave 4 games,

Just a shame so many people have this drive and the number is increasing as more and more people get lite on drives back from repair.

I have all faith in the guys releasing a new firmware soon though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Would Liteon 1.51 not boot any wave of game? Obviously it has a stealth check but only idiots rip / play non-stealth games.

Yes you can replace a liteon with samsung. Just its not safe to do but that your banned you cant be banned again.

Then get a old version such as xtream 5.x

liteon 1.51 doesn't boot every wave game. Only the hitachi 1.51 will. Like the previous person said you can spoof a samsung and flash it with an xtreme firmware and just use that but that'll get you banned asap when you go online so do that only on a banned box.

i thought xtreme 4.2 was the last version that booted everything?

didnt they remove booting dvd5 xbox games in the later versions?

i got banned too is there any way to play all regions games on a NTSC console you know PAL and NTSC/J games

Nope, not unless you flash a modified NAND (pre summer update exploit) each time you want to play a different region.

since your banned you can flash with 1.51 then just patch your wave x games

What do you mean unable?? For anyone that has ix1.6, whichever drive, all you need to do is use one shot boot by using the activate.iso-This will boot wave (x) (any)

Sure its an extra step but it works just fine. Plus this will still utilise full stealth if available!
