Even if I'm wrong, anyone thats spoken to c4 will get my point

AFAIK, there is no known Authoring Date to use as the 'Rule' for Wave 4, therefore, no-one knows the exceptions.

Again, knowing c4, he isnt going to release a half assed effort, it's just not his style - so without the date / exceptions / adding to fw / testing....

im ind new to all this, so I dont know much about c4....just thought i would sahare as i saw this on a few different forums...

dont know if its in th elinks I posted, but one place I read that 1.61 will be on xbins 1st, and shortly after it will be other places on the 27th.... so thats tomorrow... does c4 usually put out an official msg b4 release?

Not this month

I wish iX 1.61 would just ignore stealth entirely and boot backups, period. You'd never need to update firmware to handle new Wave X in the future. Otherwise, with every NXE update, we will be caught in this cycle of new Wave X games --> weeks waiting to determine authoring date --> new iX fw --> everybody flash.

Basically, I wish iX1.61 would just be a bug-free version of what iX1.51 was supposed to be. With ABGX verifying your rips before (and after) you burn them, there's no need to do it in the firmware. And if you're too lazy to verify your rips, you deserve to be banned.

I completely agree. ABGX360 negates any reason to have partition checking etc, and those who are lazy / stupid and don't verify their rips deserve what they get.

read somewhere that theres a rumor that will will skip whatever detects which wave the game is, so it would be kinda like the actual stock FW.
