I have Tekken6 RETAIL, and Lite-on ixtreme 1.6 ... and it boots just fine.

Yeah, just as I thought. The firmware shouldn't care about which wave your originals are and boot them regardless.

well my bad was assuming others were talking about and then having one of my drives (the one i happened to be playing on) decide it only wanted to boot after I stuck a disc or two in.

guess ill go back to my 'lieing' some more, and while i am at it, ill teach people about the wonders of spell-check! or maybe i was lying about that...
