Am I correct in thinking that this only requires a very minor change to iXtreme and will probably be updated fairly quickly?  (I know that nobody knows exactly by the iXtreme developers but it sounds like this is just a small update?)

Every game released after Cars Race o Rama will be Wave 4.

Looks like Forza 3 is the last wave 3 game - thankfully.

I'd rather wait for a new F/W than use activate.iso or flash back to 1.51 - just too much hassle imo.
Ofcouse that could change if a really awesome game comes out before 1.61/1.7

...not necessarily. As of now, the timestamp in Cars Race-O-Rama only gives a good indication of whether or not to expect Wave 4 in other releases. If a game hits retail subsequent to Cars Race-O-Rama, but was mastered on an earlier date than Cars Race-O-Rama, it'll most likely still be Wave 3.

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know if abgx360 would need to be updated in order to scan wave 4 games? Has anyone even scanned Cars-O-Rama yet? Anyone mind posting the log of the abgx360 scan? If this is against the forum rules then I apologize. But it would be interesting to see...

Let's hope c4e and gang can take a look at this and decide what path to take. iX 1.61/1.7 maybe? Let's all play it safe and just wait and see.

Same result here.

I tested wave 4 on a BenQ 1.51, did not boot. On a Hitachi 1.51, booted fine.

The 1.51 on Hitachis has less restrictions/detections, maybe?

I have 1.51 and the Liteon 7xxx, and I cant get the cars o rama game to play. When I put in the disk, it gives me a white screen with the xbox logo and XBOX 360 written under it.
