I'm not upset about the blog, I'm upset that people go into hysteria mode every time a change is made.
They updated the NXE on the disk, big deal. This has absolutely nothing to do with the november update and we have no indication that "wave4" will affect firmware stealth/safety at all.
Sure, if you play using Activation.iso you're always facing an additional risk. Ripping tools or ixtreme may be making mistakes when working with the new files structure.
In conclusion: Waiting until a proper solution or statement is out is a good idea, but don't panic just because some unknown blogger's unknown friend made a vague statement regarding upcoming bans.
EDIT: Don't forget that C4E mentioned/expected that NXE updates could come out as future waves, which is why he made the activation.iso feature. Sure, 1.51 allows you to boot any wave, but that's not always necessarily the safest approach. Therefore C4E delegated the risk to the user who now has to "opt-in" in order to play disks of unknown waves.
