alright so i have a xbox 360 with 74850C drive and i would like to flash it..

now my understanding is that
1.It needs that probe? to not only flash the drive but to extract the key?
2. There is homemade prob instruc..but its better to buy the real thing?
3. where can i buy a prob and what exactly do i need? like c3k? and prob? both?

i have two other xbox 360s with benq drive and samsung drive..would it better to switch the drive?

1. probe to extract key not to flash
2.either way but i use real thing
3.team xecuter has them not sure who else - ck3 pro and probe or a maximus exstractor and probe
just google it  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
liteon is a much better drive easy peasy

Dont bother with a probe just solder the 2 points together , you got to take the cover of to use probe so might just aswell drop a bit of solder over it

um..i i really dont wana to spend extra money on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)...

how about if i replace the drive out with the benq or samsung..and play with it..no key spoofing? wouldn't that get be banned? but i will be able to play singlerplayer right...

Without getting the drive key another drive wont work.

That means nothing without the drive key for YOUR console.

I don't think you understand the basics of 360 drives for here is Xbox 360 dvd drive 101 for you.

Every drive is LOCKED to its console with a unique drive key. This is a matching key that is the same on the drive and the console motherboard. If the drive key on the drive does not match the console then it wont work plain and simple.

they still need the key from the liteon drive.

1. buy a Maximus 360 Xtractor Reader v2.7?
2. or buy Xecuter Connectivity Kit v3 Lite and Pro?
     i only need one?
which one would u guys recommend?

so this probe and junglerflash is the only thing i need ok
