A file didn't copy right or the disc is scratched and it couldn't copy it correctly.

I think it was the program you used to copy it to the HD, which program did you use?

i know this is pretty old but it would waste time to create new topic. im having same problem. i "GOT" this game from somewhere and i copied it to my comps harddrive (dont ask what program, doesnt matter, but i used windows) from ftp and i put it on the xbox and it boots up but when i press start game it says "There's a problem with the disc you're using. It may be dirty or damaged." i hate this f-in error. i need to know how to fix this, or bypass it, or get the original default.xbe because the one i have is already patched and i think thats whats screwing it up. ty

Get the ORIGINAL default.xbe from YOUR ORIGINAL game disk.
