p.s i dont think dumping the firmware is going to be a walk in the park tho at least not for a modder without any soldering skills

Soldering is one of my areas of expertise,

So I might put-off the nand hack for now (allthough it would be good to confirm) I think I see where he's going with this... I'll wait untill tommorow to see the implementation but I might start getting the epoxy off tonight tho

Sounds very interesting indeed. I wonder if this will only work for the new 93450 drives or both the new 93450 and 83850c drives.

i guess it will work for all liteon drives (regardless wich fw they have)

Looks like a way to fully dump the firmware for ALL lite-on drive is now out.

Not for the faint of heart, I can tell you that.
