Thanks for the post, I been doing that...I thought I try again now it imposible (upto now) to access the drive via dosflash. I can never do it in windows because my board is VIA...I flashed many drives with this chipset.
I'm now getting in dosflash 1.8 MTK Vendor intro failed....I toggle the switch and only get 0x51 when on and 0xD1 when off. I think I l-o-eras.exe it the last time, that let me write the firmware the last time.
