I tell ya, ive run into problems doing this EVERY step of the way, those that have seen my other posts can confirm this.

My problem now is i set my drive into mode B everything goes fine it detects in windows, JF reads it alright, but whenit comes time to put the audio cd in it just keeps ejecting, i put it in the drive retracts windows detects it for a sec and then the drive spits it out.

When i do the Mode B it tells me to eject my drive now, and then it goes in and then back out when its done making it mode B so when i do the unlock its already out and i just put the cd in, does that sound right?


**EDIT** NVM I GOT IT

for some reason theres a double eject button push required to close the drive after, if you just push it once and then click close on JF it will stay shut, however, if u press the button twice on the xbox itself it will just open again

When the 79 is in mode b you have to hit close 3 times, so you pressed it twice on the drive and once in JungleFlasher. If you had pressed the eject button 3 times to close it, it would have stayed closed also. If you read the tutorial you would have known this.

do me a favor send me a quote of what exactly it says in the jungle flasher tut about that, itll clear things up

Once jungle flasher reads the disk and does the unlock it ejects it. this is normal. You can read and flash the drive while it is ejected just fine.
