Ive got Windows 7 x86 and jungleflasher is working for the most part, it detects all of my drives except for the one i want to modify, the Hitachi shows in the bios and on startup on sata4 but not in JF. Ive installed portio it shows up fine in device manager. Is there something im doing wrong?

Should i use Slax id like to use JF but apparently it doesn't work unless its mode b? Any thoughts from any1?

lol did you read ANY other the tutorials before posting? for port io, the drive letter will not appear in windows but it should show up on the left side in JF showing the Name, F/W Rev and Reserved info. don't use slax, dont use the mode b button on the connectivity kit. just get it to show up and hit mode b and follow the instructions. ignore win api and the drive letter just hit port io and dump/flash the drive.

Before you decide to reply saying something like that first think that perhaps i did read them in fact i read them all and think maybe i tried everything ppl were saying ppl say alot of different things even in tutorials i hadn't tried slax because ppl have said not to use it, however there is alot of things going wrong and therefore i was down for trying it if it was my last option. Fact is it wasn't detecting it at all.

Regardless of all that thanks for the reply and my problems been solved anyway in fact i posted my resolution in case any1 else has the problems i did.
