ok well i rented the game to see how it was and i was pretty impressed.i bought it.days later i was thinking if it was hackeable only to see that ppl could not make backups on their xbox with dvd2xbox so i decided to try myself but i dont have dvd2xbox.i copy my games to my hd using a my file explorer.i copied everything in the data folder and the default.xbe only.it works fine.but then i looked on gametoast.com how to modify battlefront2 but i think they only mod the pc version.i  saw that they had made the 2 games almost 99% the same so i tried modding it just like in the pc version with a hex editor(pretty easy) and it works!its soo cool making everyone pilot luke and darth vader on hoth i say that someone with good brains makes better mods and finds out some other things!

The only thing that was stopping the SWBF modding was that all the new PC tools are now just LUA scripts. They stopped most of the HEXing, which is basically all WE can do, unless someone has both the PC and XBox, you could make a lua script with the XBox maps, then just add modded ones then execute. (I looked a lot into this -- but I don't have the PC version)

you know whhat would be cool ... importing models of other ships into Battlefront... can anyone say Millenium falcon?  Add Heroes in Space battles!

adding heroes in space is very easy all you have to do is hex the mission.lvl and it  would be cool to use diff models

I don't want to seem like a nub here, but can someone post on my thread about Hex Editing? I don't understand where to go to change what heros are there and what replaces what unit.. any info would be nice.

i don't know whats wrong, but i backed up star wars battlefront 2 perfectly. i even used dvd2xbox. maybe just my xbox pwns cause thats the only reason i can think of

You can import new ships into battlefront II for the computer, someone has already gotten a B-Wing working that looks really cool check it out. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=162576
