Sims 3 Pets - Disc Continually Spinning - Installed On Hdd

even thought the game is installed, the drive will still check the disc at times as a security measure although it shouldnt be spinning constantly

perhaps your laser is on its way out or the disc is heavily scratched meaning a quick read takes 10 times longer as its having difficulty reading the disc

theres nothing you can do but replace the laser or the disc.

thanks for the reply

thats what i thought, it does not seem to do this with any other games, just seems to be sims 3 pets. So as far as i know the laser is ok. If it goes it goes ill replace it.
