Ok, I havent had an issue with this xbox until the recent fall 2012 update.

Now the xbox takes about 2 minutes to load the profiles (or dash if no hdd/usb drive plugged in) after the initial bios video.

i have tried:
Removing hdd and anything plugged into it. - no change. still takes that long to load the dash with no profile.
Formatting HDD
Deleting system update from hdd (lrxlrx)
Deleting cache
Initial setup (this works but only for the 1st power cycle after, even if i do not download the update)
No game in the drive (again, this works but only for the 1st power on cycle after its removed.
No profiles

Any ideas? The xbox will randomly let me load a profile, and when it does it works fine. i have no issues on live with lag, or it locking up for that power on cycle.
