My point towards Tecmo being that I posted nothing proprietary on Ninjahacker for them to go all bouncy about. I posted in all .bos patches, and I didn't even do the images because I didn't have the snapshot mod for either game. Sure, I filtered some textures. And sure, we did some nude mods, but that's to be expected. That's ALWAYS the first thing to be done, just for the sake of it being done. Tecmo jumped the gun a bit, there had to be time for more creative things to be done. My entire goal with my mods was to further the beauty of normally plain and mannequin looking characters. I never looked to sell, nor had the intention to distribute them for money.. it makes me think that Itagaki's comments stating that "DoA is for people who like DoA", are bullshit. We love(d) DoA and now we're being smeared all over the bathroom floor and flushed down a toilet for disposal. That's not fanservice in the least..
On another note, it's good to see that cypher got through this unscathed. Since the judge said it's been dismissed as long as the two parties can reach a settlement, and one was apparently reached, I doubt we'll see anymore of this.
