Wow, this is really taking off.  Maybe we'll get some really cool mods soon.  I will look into some things if I have time, but don't know what I can really contribute.  Farralone, let me know what you find out and I would love to lend a hand.  Let me know.  Later.

Anyway, this was just a rush work.
And the effectsfile is little hard to understand, so i will work more on it.

But this must be balanced since, we don't whant it to big at short ranges.

your really doing a great job. thanks a bunch for all of your work. it does need to be balanced but maybe u could have it come out in like globs instead of dots or spray like just when someone gets shot in real life how its almost a stream. with mist around it if u did that like have a glob and than spray i think it would look really cool and the glob that kinda shoots out would help distinguish and if possible it would be nice to have bullet dammage and but thats not a must at all that would just be like an exterme luxary idk if its possible but also comning out of both sides would also help it out a bit thank u so much for releasing that though im happy with it so far just incase you want to go back and master it thats what i can think of for suggestions

It's always nice to get feedback and new ideas.
Maybe someday when i feel i know more about the effect files, or if Redstorm putts out a effect editor. But, at first i just whant to add missing element's in the game. Then when most stuff are ready, i will look more on this.

Thanks for the tutorials, I went through those and some others in my quest to learn how all this stuff works.  I'm a developer/designer by trade.  And since I love video games this whole process is fun for me.  Not to hijack the thread, but I'm using your blood patch as a jump point for learning, and I'm wondering if you can recommend a resource for me to learn about the dds files and MIP maps?

I.E. I'm not even sure how to do something simple like resave a dds in photoshop so that when using the GX tool to replace a texture it will show the transparent background.

Thanks.

For the effects i think you should target the Havok 2.0 physics engine.
This is the engine Gr2 is based on.
Just to some search at google (haven't looked myself)
