I'm just curious if one could change or add additional tracks to DDR Ultramix 2?

I'm not so into techno, but funk....

Actually, it might be possible....

Currently, there is a program that extracts all the resources from the game files... And it works, too....

Injection of new songs and step files might be possible in the future... everything is configured in comma separated value format -- easily edited with Excel or any text editor.

OKAY, TIME TO CLEAR THINGS UP ANOTHER FSCKING TIME.

My TOOL (yes, I was the one who coded it) is only to EXTRACT, not yet INJECT, only anything NOT MUSICAL.

Music and resources are in TWO SEPARATE FILES. No music in the graphics/random_data bin, no graphics/random_data in the music bin.

And there is NO WAY in the nine fucking hells, that I'm gonna figure out the music ciphers, placement and whatnot.

SO NO, THERE WAS NOT, IS NOT, AND NEVER WILL BE ANY EXTRACTION/INJECTION OF MUSIC IN ULTRAMIX2. IT IS ILLEGAL.

Give it the fuck up already.

MODS! I DEMAND A THREAD CLOSING. It's all about my tool and illegality, so close it.

Illegality? Putting your own music in games isn't against the RIAA

even if you do somehow inject the song into the game how are you expecting to make the steps for it?  the song won't show up unless the game looks for it so are you expecting to duplicate a song pack and "create your own song pack"?  I love the idea but I think stepmania will be more up your alley.
