Hey Guys.

So like the title says: I'm using XEXMenu and FTPing into a JTAG. This happens a lot to me. I try and delete an old game folder from the internal HDD (for example, I try and delete \Games\Fifa 2010\) and the 360 won't let me. I tried the following:

-Delete thru XEXMenu (it confirms the delete but the folder remains)
-Delete thru FTP (it confirms the delete, but after a refresh, the folder remains)
-CHMOD the directory to 777 via FTP (same result as above)

The only way I can get the folder to go away is to CHMOD via FTP, go back to the NXE dashboard, back into XEXMenu and delete thru XEXMenu's dashboard.

Am I doing something wrong when creating/deleting folders?

I had a problem kind of like this before, wat u could try is deleting it in freestyles file manager that worked for me, but most times it would mess up doing this, then it would give me random rrod errors so I format the drive and it never ever does it anymore, Also try a different version of xex menu

Lol. I'd like to avoid critical errors.

I'm using xexmenu v1.1. Instead of downgrading, I may try and format the drive. I've got too much to back up tho! damn.

Anyone else have any input?

I think it's a bug within the XexMenu program..

I've found that, if you try to delete the folder in xexmenu and the folder still remains. You can just refresh xexmenu by selecting a different skin and then delete the folder again.. It will then be deleted for good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

This worked for me! This is an XEXMenu glitch.

When I'm in XEXMenu and I cannot delete a folder, I just quick launch XEXMenu again (as if I restart the program) and the folder deletes as normal...
