My 1.0 xbox (may he rest in peace after a sudden case of "lightning strike poisoning") was called snake; although originally it was called something else, and I kept deleting the nickname file and loading halo until I got something I liked; and my new 1.2 is called saucy. (I liked it straight away so I kept it! It reminds me of my wife - she's a saucy little mynx .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrll!)

Had one xbox named "The Big L" didn't care for it, but didn't care to fix it either. Then my second xbox came with the name "Prancer". I stared at the screen in shock for a good minute. Then I went out a got ahold of a copy of DOA3 so I could change it. (This was long before I modded the xboxes.)

My original xbox's name at first was "I cant think of a name". Then I went with "Duh...". Somehow I ended up naming it "My Mercy". Then the name "The Old" popped into my head and has been that since.

My xbox with the X2.1 chip in it got the name "Horrible Blue" because the superbright LED keeps distracting me.

my box name was prancer which i promptly changed to both thumbles clicking,,
and man does it scare off people by the hundreds on xbc,,,
so funny watching ignorant people screaming HACKER!! and fleeing

on a side note,,did anybody figure out how to group the button or sthumbsticks closer together so you could actually spell with them?
i tried finding the guy who showed up with all the values first but he seems to be super leet hacker that doesnt wanna help no one.
i know its possible cuz ive seen a screen of someones xbox name spelled out with tightly grouped buttons
it has something to do with the two letter before your name,,but ive tried changing them to a thousand different configs and nothing.
