Yeah... thanks XPort... works great now.... I hope I'm not bugging you with all my bug posting... lol...

It would be great if you could make all the functions of the bios work in a futre update... like pause, scan forward/reverse... but I that game wait till way later... whenever you do a bug fix for something else... but the 2 most important features work... Play and Stop.... =happy.gif= Thanks XPort!

Any chance of getting the video stuttering fixed in any future releases? That's really the only thing that stops me from playing Sega CD games on Xbox. Sonic CD is the only game I have that isn't loaded with video.

Many Thanks!

Been pretty busy since returning! It's been a long time since I was checking this board daily to see whats up. I check this forum out a least once a day again now.

Pretty exciting stuff.

Cool, thanks. A lot more CDs work correctly with these new releases.

Small GUI bug report: the "sort dirs to the top" option sorts the directorys to before the A's, but not before the numbers. So a game called 777 appears before a directory called Sonic CD, before a game called Alpha, for example.

Are you playing from real CDs or from images?  If you're playing from images, are they copied to the HD, copied to a DVD, or being read from across the network?

(oh, and that sorting bug is fixed now)

ph34r.gif Is it possible to add in the video options the Soften screen option? The already included filter ficker plus soften would make the screen even criper than already is(like FBA-XXX and mameox) in neogenesis and all other emus...
Thanks. laugh.gif

I'm playing from real CDs, storebought Sega CD games. Sonic CD works perfect, as does Puggsy, but Sewer Shark, Double Switch, C+C Music Factory (no laughs please), and Night Trap all gave me problems with video skipping. It'll play smoothly, then about every 10 seconds it freezes for a second or two, then resumes. It's not that bad for a game like Sonic CD where it's all 2D gameplay, but alot of Sega CD games use nothing but videos, making them unplayable as of now.

What they call Soften is probably the same as the hardware filters already available in the video configuration menu.

Luriden - I'll look into it

No, it isn't the same as hardware filtering. It's this:
CODE
D3DDevice::SetSoftDisplayFilter(0);

It's used in exactly the same way as the flicker filter setting.

Thanks for that - it's now implemented.
