Can Xbmp Corrupt V1.6 Eeprom?

i have read on several posts that xbmp is not compatible with v1.6 eeproms and corrupt them, is this true???? i have a newly modded v1.6 xbox with x2.6 lite and i used slayers 2.6 to install apps. when i went into xbmp to check it out, eject light turned orange (which i understand maybe normal) when i exited out of xbmp my audio was screwed up (digital and analog cuts in and out on all games) and i havent been able to fix it since. any help would be great!!!!

Hmmm,
From what I understand the 1.6 doesn't have an eeprom. You may want to read further into this.

of course it has an eeprom, and it will most likely corrupt a 1.6

Reading/writing to the eeprom has not changed in the xdk so it still uses the same way as it did when it came out.

But as always, screw with the eeprom at your own risk.
