the easiest thing to do is upgrade xbmc

or you will have to hex edit the default.xbe  and change a the link to the weather channel website

if you dont know then just update xbmc but if you or anybody else wants to know what has to be fixed

open the default.xbe with a hex editor then search for this line
**http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/%s?cc=*&unit=m&dayf=4&prod=xoap&par=%s&key=%s**

with out the ** symbols at the ends

and change  prod to link

then save

this fix came off of the XBMC forum

yes  google "Qwix" and also google "t3ch xbmc"

once you get both downloads extract the the XBMC folder from the .rar file then use Qwix to covert the XBMC folder into a xbox.iso then just burn that to a cd-rw or dvd-r then just boot the disk and use the file browser to transfer the new XBMC over the old XBMC

depending on how your xbox is modded the location of your Xbmc dash may be different some common locations for softmodded xboxs are

e:\evoxdash.xbe  << you will have to change the default.xbe to match this fir some softmodds but not all
E:\dash
E:\dashboard

did you try turning the console on with the disk in the tray and if the screen goes blank that way just wait a little while for it to load sometimes its slow

also what type of disk did you use like cd-r,or dvd-r

it's easer to update xbmc from a different dash (IE: evox for FTP or boxplorer running as a app)
as when xbmc is running it remaps it's files to Q: and write protects the default.xbe

turn off autolaunch in xbmc then put in the disk and use the filemanager to go on the disk

you did use Qwix to create the xbox.iso before you burnt it to disk right
