Is it possible to control the DVD features of the XBOX (APPS like .....DVD region free or Media Center), by using this

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Gaming/Xbox/Acces...trol+kit%2E.htm

instead of this ?

http://shop.game.net/viewProduct.aspx?mid=...0&cat=10210

I am asking this because....The first one is unplugged (remote controller)...but the second one must be plugged to the XBOX....so, in order to control the DVD features to watch a movie...I have to be "plugged" to the XBOX

Thanks for any suggestion
