Yes that is exactly the question I keep asking (the colours and editions are not relevant here). The thing is for someone who made such a bold statement, the poster seems reluctant to give the key details.
So I stick to my first assumption its not a 1.6C its more like Bullshit.

Yes he did send me pictures of this. Thank you i do appreciate the time taken to send the pics. but the box is indeed the 1.6B (Hynix Ram, XcaliburChip)

What was actually said was that the Canadian boxes of that type (Blue) were 1.4. You right away then started defending the fact it was not a 1.4. The point made was that it was not a 1.6C. The other Blue ones were a reference to waht they were. No doubt Some of the canadian Blues will be 1.6 or 1.6B.
Can you not ask the techs what makes this different?
It looks like every 1.6B I have ever modded. You said only 3 types of chip work with it. Which ones do not work? Why?
The issues with incompatibility with the 1.6B were down to the RAM timing of the Hynix Ram sorted with a Bios upgrade.

The dash is different to any I have seen so far but I still can't make out any hardware differences looking at the pics I have. If the Aladdin chips work in them then any of the other chips will also work that work in the current 1.6
