I have the samsung drive and xecuter2 but it will not read cd-r's of any type. Any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks <

i have a thompson and that doesn't read cdrs either.

Try the Durabrand CD-Rs you can find them at WalMart. Those work on all samsung drives.
Same with Memorex CD-Rs
Dunno about the Thomson, never really tried CD-Rs on it.

xbox v1.1, samsung dvd - plays cdr's and dvdr/rw just fine. <

Stop being cheap and get some CD-RW's or DVD-/+RW's. They work all the time for me, version 1.0 thomson. Umm... I know the memorex cd/rw's and dvd/rw's work good. <
