Can Xbmp Be Set Up To Autoplay Mp3s Burned On Dvd?
« on: July 13, 2004, 12:51:00 PM »

Hello everyone, I want to set up an Xbox to automatically boot into XBMP.  Once in XBMP, I want to be able to stick a DVD with MP3s into the drive and have it automatically start playing without any user input.

Is this possible?  The idea is essentially to turn the XBox into an mp3 jukebox without any user input (or TV) needed.

Thanks for any help!

I've never heard of doing that before, but one thing you can do is get MXM as your dashboard and have the WMVs in the default music directory and when MXM boots it will randomly play music from that directory.  You can always change the music from the computer with Xbox sountrack editor.  Hope that helps  <

I'm going to post this in every single topic on every single page of this forum.

I was told by people on this site no one will be answering any questions about XBMP anymore because this site doesn't support it anymore.
So what's the deal here. If your going to answer these peole then i should also have mine answered as well.
So what are we doing here, are we answering questions or not?

XBMC can autolaunch CD/DVD's with audio/video....etc files on... you should try that.

XBMP is getting old now.
