THIS shows how to use a pendrive as a memory unit that works with Action Replay. I got my digital camera to work by using the same properties as shown in the tutorial.

AAAAAaaaaaand, can I just wire up a usb socket to the colour coded wires of a plug from a controller? So no controller just a straight usb cable with an xbox plug on the end?

Right, its broken...

black screen when I boot up.

I need a 5101 (or something) rescue disc apparently (I tried that, but I don't have the rescue disc, and I don't have nero or the files to burn myself one). otherwise anyone need a parts xbox?? lol

....i can load a game, so I can reload the exploit thats ALREADY on the xbox, but its no good because NDure needs the latest 5960 thing, and mine's reverted back to some ancient version somehow

Did you backup your eeprom, c and e partitions to your PC? IF so you can use xboxhdm to rebuild the hdd and redo the mod.

I hope I did!

There's a lot on here, and in file manager I see the 'backup' on one of the drives. How will I use xboxhdm though? I can't seem to correctly configure FTP, and I have no way of transferring files to the xbox now ?
