Ftp Server Crashes When Enabled
« on: July 12, 2004, 07:13:00 PM »

My XBMC FTP server crashes when enabled. I have tried several builds. My network is functioning properly, as I can stream video without difficulty. I am not installing to HD, but rather, using a DVDR to boot to XBMC.

Any ideas?

You have the server running on the xbox or the PC?  <

When trying to enable FTP on the XBOX running XBMC, it just crashes.

Like I said, my network is working fine. I can stream video from my server.

I am using a XBMC DVD bootdisk with only the network info changed and and SMB set up for my videos.

I still get a black screen without deleting the memory saves for XBMC every time I reboot (YES, I checked the FAQ, it mentions their are many causes, but only offers 3 resolutions {none of them work}). But otherwise, I can get the builds to stream video with my network settings.  <
