Just get a $10 duoX2 chip and boot Slayer's or Auto Installer Deluxe to reformat your existing hard drive.

Any chip will work. The difference between them is the bells & whistles that are added.
X3's are the most expensive, X2.6's are less expensive, duoX2's are dirt cheap.
All of them are good, stable chips.
Hell even the Xenium chips are excellent. It all depends on how much money you have and how much you're willing to spend.

for $10 you can fix your xbox... if you wanted to.

Even AID is outdated, but you can use either disc to format and install all your necessary dash files.
Afterwards, you can learn how to FTP so you can transfer all the latest versions of dashboards, applications, and emulators to your hard drive.
