Your hint is still valid: the many tuts/docs/FAQ etc. I read still do not mention "HOW TO" interact with RelaX virtual folder from XBMP.

I've gotten XBMP to use RelaX XNS streams to play music and vids if I use the actual folder that the files in, but I read that RelaX can Make Virtual folders so they can all be on different drives, but you only have to browse through the one.  Any tips or link to a tutorial would be awesome.

Took me a while to figure this one out.

You have to goto you XBMP config file and look for the XNS drive share section for each folder , Video, Music, Pictures.

Under that you need to change each one

<share>
       <name>Network (XNS)</name>
       <url>c:[email protected]</url>
       <cachesize>256</cachesize>
     </share>

to show

<url>[email protected]</url>

Make sure you put your server computer ip in right and then under Relax  make a virtual dir and make the name music...   It will make a dir you can just drag and drop music into.

MAKE sure your dir in Relax and in the Config file are case correct....

Do that for each Pics, Music, and Movies...

Just make sure you put the changes under the XNS Share...  read above in the config file...  XNS is for Relax, SMB etc etc...
