Very Simple Question About Playing Mp3s...

Hey yall, i just modded my xbox a couple weeks ago so im new to this stuff, and this board has been a great help all along the way. I have installed XBMP, but cannot get it to read mp3 files on the HDD. What is the correct folder i should be putting them? Do I have to make a folder or something? Thanks guys

If you're talking about XBMC, then you need to put music in the "music" folder.  You see the list: Programs, Video, Music, Weater, etc.  When you FTP, you need to go to main drive (most likely "F") and double click the "Music" folder and put the music in there.  If you put it in Videos, then the mp3 will not show up when you go to Videos.  Hope that helps.
