Need Some Mod Info

ey guys i need some info on xbox mod chips asap.  if i rent a game and i have a mod chip and i really like the game, can i just pop the game into my xbox and burn it to the xbox hard drive? also, which mod chips are good? any other info you could give me would be awesome. thanks.

it can be done and there are programs to do it but we don't condone that sort of thing.

seriously though, if you're serious about modding your xbox you should do some reading because this forum gets clogged up with people getting spoon fed answers that have been answered a thousand times before.
chances are you'll learn a lot more and it will save you time later from answering other questions if you just do a bit of reading. give it a couple hours of reading and you won't have to wait until "ASAP" comes along to get an answer to any question that crosses your mind. it's all posted already if you look a little.

your best bet is to start reading the entire newbie welcome guide and forum rules
it's pinned in the newbie chat section here
there are plenty of links from that thread to get you started on any and all questions you will have.
