itunes daap works fine, maybe you just need to check your ip settings in the xml.  and that's a good tip about paplayer, thanks.  hopefully mplayer album info over itunes support will be added soon.

I wish I could be more specific but it does nothing. I get zero functionality. If I put in a physical dvd in the tray and select the play icon (or video_ts.ifo in the my files) it doesnt do anything at all. If I go to the videos menu and select any of my network shared dvds, same thing, selecting them does nothing at all.

Nvm, I got it solved by deleting  the MY MUSIC album file

Great work but there is still some problems with some DVDs. I try to watch the first DVD of the first season of 24 (Twenty-four) DVD box. XBMC starts to play the DVD but it just stops playing after few seconds (I can't even go to DVD menu). When I tried to play this DVD with earlier XBMC builds, I was able to go to DVD menu, but XBMC didn't show the DVD menu right and there were problems with subtitles.
