From T3CH readme/nfo:
QUOTE
New Dashboard install method
Thanks to a new app called 'Team UIX's Xbe Shortcut Maker v1.0' by JbOnE, it's now extremely easy...
Edit XBMC\xboxmediacenter.xml to your liking & transfer contents of XBMC folder TO (this is VERY important) "E:\APPS\XBMC\". Rename <<RENAME_ME.xbe>> to something your bios can boot  (see http://manual.xboxmediacenter.de/wakka.php...BMCAsDash#h44-2 or read your BIOS README)  and transfer to your C partition. No need to fiddle with HOME tag anymore, and future upgrades you won't  need to worry about this file on C.

You can add more scripts and skins yourself if desired. You can download them from http://allxboxskins.com, http://www.xbox-skins.net and http://www.xbmcscripts.com.
Keep in mind this is a CVS snapshot of the current development tree. It's not a official (stable) point release. Use only if you know what you are doing.

When did the add the feature of the popup when you open files ober smb that says something like "caching ..."  ? This seam much slower that just opening the movie like it used to in old versions (mine was an april build).

Actually I really hate that caching message that pops up, can it be disabled?

Does anyone else notice this?

Must it be on E: or is that just an example?  Personally, I'd like to put it on F:.

Damn, time I upgraded, though I miss the smooth look of Project Mayhem II. Hopefully Choke someday gets the time to upgrade it again :), or if somebody else would do it ;).

if u do a 1:1 install of this t3ch build it should work

the scripts menu points to scripts/quicktimebrowser-1.37-mod if memory serves, both this xml and that script needs to be uploaded

if you fail to do this, ofcourse it's still using your old unmodified script

Now, was I correct ?

Mmm since I upgraded I notice the temperature getting pretty higher than usual, I dunno, maybe it doesn't have to do with XBMC. Usually its like 46 degrees, now it reaches 51 almost (CPU).

I'd just like to report on a prviouse build of XBMC, the following DVD did crash the built in DVD player in XBMC: Predator 1 Special Edition UK/Australion PAL Region 2: disc 2 would not load, and Disc 1, stopped at the Region information on screen.

Question:

* fixed: SITE runxbe in ftp server

So I can use RAW commands to run XBEs in my XBOX?  If so does anyone know the command off hand... I'd love to use reboot.xbe & shutdown.xbe to shut it off via the network

Thanks Team XBMC

Send site help and you get the whole list of commands you can send to xbmc.

Example:

CODE

Site runxbe c:\evoxdash.xbe
