Whenever I'm trying to get to sleep, i'll queue up like 5-6 songs, and let them do their business but with every version I try, it'll lock up near the end of any random song. I've tried everything I can think of but this is always happening.

I've tried streaming off a network, playing locally. But it always seems to freeze and I have no idea why.

If anyone knows anything that might be causing this, please tell.

I have the same problem.

All my music freezes when ive played 1-2 songs, sometimes only a half song.

i'm having the same problem. played a few songs over smb workgroup and after 2 or 3 it freezes. Any ideas? maybe if they play off the hard drive? I think it also happens in itunes network too.

The same thing was happening to me. I posted at www.xboxmediacenter.de & was told it was probably something to do with the charset.
I deleted the tdata, udata & XBMC folders & reinstalled. It's been working fine so far.
It's funny how this never happened before (I was using a build from Aug.) & now a number of people are experiencing this.
