Would you be interested in looking at a dead large block Jasper for me? The SPI port is fried, and the guy who runs VGCrepairs.com says it looks like I've also fried the southbridge. I did this by attempting to flash the NAND using a USB SPI flasher which I'd wired up incorrectly. Details can be found
here. It currently has a Cygnos360 installed, so flashing is possible.
Presumably all this console needs to run again is a replacement southbridge. I have no way of knowing for sure that nothing else was damaged, however. Do you think this would be worth trying? If so, how much would it cost?
I also have a small block Jasper which is on the latest dash. How much would it cost to have the CPU on that unit replaced with an exploitable chip?
