update on #016: no problem if fb0.04/12611 is desired.  just tested it on my primary tag, worked without a problem.  boxes are the same, so if you want it, just request it.

update on cygnos boxes: no fb patches for them yet, but it is being worked on.

<btw, still seeking input regarding the "can boflc cut the retail seal to prove exploitable dash versions without folks feeling as tho it is too much of a compromise?">

this seller, don't trust.  i purchased this EXACT unit as it was claimed to be "new" and "used once".  i got it, true, all accessories were still new in packages, but the warranty seals were messed up.  i took pictures and got them to accept a return.  once i did that, i decided to take a little deeper look at the box (b/c they had offered a $25 refund or a full return).  j1d2 and j2b1 were covered in flux (i have pictures of this).  anyway, i didn't take it further than there.  i did try to get another $100 off, though b/c i'm betting the unit has its SPI blown and thus needs a cygnos.

just thought i'd warn ppl away from both the unit && the seller.

i will continue to hunt for more units, but i'd to make sure everyone is aware: tagable jaspers are become extremely scarce.  we're not at extinction yet, but they are becoming very difficult to come across.

i'll open a new thread when i've come across more units; for certain i will have a set of cygnos revE tagged boxes but it may be a little while.

my last two purchasers will (err, should) be commenting in this thread once they receive their items and are happy [edit: as well as two previously completely sales that were shipped (gasp) internationally], so mods please leave this thread open until i formally request it closed.
