Playing Dvd In Xbmc
« on: April 08, 2005, 02:27:00 AM »

I have read a bit on this program and Im only getting confused. Pease forgive me if Im asking a posted question.

How do I watch DVD's that are saved to harddrive with XBMC. Is it possible to watch downloaded dvds. All my games work but for the life of me I cant get a DVD to play.  Please help or direct me to help if you could.

You can play the video but not launch the menus since XBMC doesn't support them yet. I believe with some of the builds coming out it'll happen soon.

If you go through the files in the roots you can find the one that launches the video but I cannot remember which one it is.

Cheers for that..If anyone else has any ideas please input them for me. I dont want to put them through a pc first just straight uncompressed 4-5 gb movies.

edit

Ok I found the file you mentioned, video_ts.ifo , press A and it plays movie from start to finish plus the controller is a full featured remote. Great. Thanks for the advice.
