eh.. maybe not. Got RROD today with error code 0031. Seems to relate to the 12V fan mod you did, or some other internal hardware problem.

I'll quote: 0031 is a short of some kind, so a poor x-clamp fix with metal washers, or more likely when doing a fan mod, especially if your using 12V chips to give your fan extra oomph, touch the wrong thing and its 3 red lights with a 0031code.

Try loosening the GPU heatsink, it can be caused if that is too tight against the GPU after an x-clamp fix.

Yeah, I'm still here, didn't want to bump up my post until I got all of my consoles shipped out, but I'm happy to say that I'm caught up with everything now.

i have an xenon motherboard xbox 360, Made 6-28-06 and it got the red rings late July. I havent gone online with it since and it still has the red rings. Could i send that to you to fix it up as i already have started the xclamp mod but never succeeded. If it works and the kernel is order whatever it needs to be, could you also jtag it? thanks.
