If I were you, I'd be worried more about my english than getting xlink to run...

Anyways, make sure you have the Kai engine running on your computer (or on your WRT54G/GS) and that you have alogin and password in the Xlink Kai settings, or on the engine settings. <

Had same problem.Would ftp ok but kai wouldnt connect. Took an hour for me to figure out. I thought I had put the right ip in as it was 192.168.0.1. But Kai needs to see it as 192.168.0.100. Try changing your ip address by adding a couple of 0`s to it!

That ip address 192.168.0.1 is utterly different to 192.168.0.100 - adding the zero's will only work if the 192.168.0.100 is what it should be in the first place.

Really what you should try is to get the engine and ui running on a PC / MAC and ensure you can play over xlink before you try running it with the XBMC as the UI and the PC as engine only. Once that works you know that your network settings are correct and you can move onto using XBMC as the UI
