Control Media Portal/mythtv Through Xbox

Is there a way to use the XBox to control recordings on a PC thats set up with Preferably Media Portal but alternatively MythTV.

Im looking for a way to schedule my recordings from my XBox instead of having to go to the computer to do it.

Once the tv is recorded, I can then play it through Media Portal.
