ok i had xbmp and i just put xbmc on my xbox now im running both i was wondering how to controlle everything? like can you give me a list of what buttons do what i tried watching a movie and pressed the A button and it paused usually on xbmp the A button bring up ff,rw,play,or stop etc, also i was wondering what is IMDB? and how does that work? if you can help me please reply or get me on aim Mbaker8651

IMDB is like CDDB except for movies. You can download movie info such as cast, year, synopsis, box art.

The buttons are pretty simple to figure out.

During Movie Play:
A=Pause/Play
B=Exit
X=Exit w/ movie playing in corner
Y=Brings up control panel (FF,RW,etc)
White=Shows time
Black=Shows info about video playback
Start=Change aspect ratio
Back=Exit
LTrigger=FF
RTrigger=RW
Digital Pad=FF/RW
RAnalog Up/Down=Adjust volume
RAnalog click=Sub menu to power off/reset
LAanalog click=Screenshot

Video Selection Menu
A=Play
B=Back
Y=Add to playlist
White=Sub menu for movie info
Black=View playlist

so i guess i need to be connected to the internet correct? are there any special settings i need ?

Yeah you have to be connected to the net to use IMDB. You shouldn't need to set anything special on your xbox depending on your connection w/ your PC. One way to check to see if your Xbox works w/ the net is to use the weather function of XBMC.

yea i got the weather going on and it works so it shows me info and trialers about the movies?

Go to the video file you want and press the white button. This brings up a sub menu. Select movie info.
