Everything Works Except My Music

Sorry if this has been covered before...I haven't been able to find it.  I seem to be have most things in working order (through XNS and slighlty more reliably through Samba) Videos stream, my Photos show up, Weather...I can even stream Shoutcast - all good.  BUT - I cannot get any of my Music files to play.  Everything shows up in both MY MUSIC shares or I-TUNES playlists, but nothing will play.  It hangs - freezes actually, when I try to play any .p3 or like file - and I must reboot.  Any information would be helpful.  Thanks in advance!! B)
