Video Crashes My Xbox

i installed xbmc yesterday and was at first very impressed but then i started to get problems playing videos, i was playing an avi file which runs fin on my pc but using xbmc it crashed my xbox i had to do a hard reset, the controlls were totaly dead. i thought it was just that file i had trouble with, i played 4/5 files (mpg and avi) after it and had no problems, but today i tried to play the SAME files (mpeg and avi) that worked fine last night and they started to freeze my xbox! does anyone know why this is happening and what i can do about it?

any help would be great, thanks.

i have the same problem man sry i cant help u out but try and update your build or something... i have 3-12-05

i only downloaded it yesterday so i assume i have the latest version?

can anyone suggest a solution? please?

hey man thanks a lot for the link i have tried what it suggested and so far i havent had any trouble, though i have only played 1 file so far, what about you has it solved the problem?
