Any xbox manufactured since March 2004 is a v1.6 or later.
You don't have a 1.4/1.5.

Strude: You are talking crap - sorry to be so rude but the photos clearly show that is NOT a 1.6 board but a 1.4/5

If nothing else the additional memory sockets give it away ! But quite simply the 1.6 board looks nothing like a 1.4/5 board.

Web11 - I think you just got lucky - maybe they found a pile of bits that they wanted to shift and they decided to do a quick production run from the parts bin

I know I'd always go for older boards than the new rubbish

Enjoy

Sorry I can't. I already delivered that box. The only soldering on the bottom is the D0, which looks exactly like this:

Same happened to me.  I got a Transparant Green Box, Made in China, production line 1, Feb of '05.  It had a 1.4 Mobo.  The Xecuter 2.6CE with a x2 BIOS works fine on it (The 1.6's need an M8 BIOS)

Yeah I've heard of them making v1.4 again, thats old news. But THIS IS A v1.5 which supposedly was discontinued in 2003.

Hope I made that clear this time =p
